Meta Description

This summarises this scheme and helps search engines index and describe this scheme is search engine results. It should be short and to the point as search engines only look at the first 160 characters or so.

The meta description is a tag in HTML, that summarizes a page's content. Search engines show the meta description in search results mostly when the searched for phrase is contained in the description. Optimizing the meta description is a very important aspect of on-page Search Engine Optimisation.
