Adding a New Question

If you wish to add a new question to a Scheme in SchemeServe, follow the general process for adding/editing questions and follow these instructions:

Adding a New Question

  1. Click on the Add a New Question Link
  2. Select the Category of Question – Standard Questions are normal questions, Calculation questions are those that are designed to monitor the Sums Insured and will populate the premium Matrix page
  3. Select the Answer type from the Drop Down Menu
  4. Give the Question a System IDNote: These are best generated as a single word thus “Age of Building” should become “AgeOfBuilding”
  5. Add the Text that should appear as the Question
  6. Add any Help Tips or Default Values
  7. Click on the Next Button to Save the Question without publishing it to the Scheme
  8. Click on the Publish to Get Quote Button to publish the question to the Scheme
